Added to the call-out if you ask us to carry out the repair, bringing the total labour to £79.00 ex-VAT (£94.80 inc-VAT). One fee, however long the job takes.

Quoted before we order anything and charged at cost plus fitting. You are told the figure and you decide — nothing is fitted without a yes.

Questions
What people ask about the price
Do you charge if the appliance cannot be repaired?
You pay the call-out and diagnosis only. If we find the repair is not worth doing — a failed sealed system on an older fridge, or drum bearings on a machine where the drum is a sealed unit — we will tell you so with the figures, and you will owe nothing beyond the call-out.
Is there a charge for a weekend or an evening?
No. Saturday is an ordinary working day for us and it is charged as one. We are closed on Sundays.
What if the job takes longer than expected?
It makes no difference to the price. The repair fee is a fee, not an hourly rate, so a job that turns out to be awkward costs you the same as one that goes quickly.
How are parts priced?
At cost plus fitting, quoted to you before anything is ordered. You get the figure and you decide. Nothing is fitted without your agreement.
Do you take card payments?
Yes — debit and credit cards, as well as bank transfer.
Are your prices inclusive of VAT?
Both figures are shown throughout. VAT is charged at 20%, so the £49.00 call-out is £58.80 to pay.
